So let’s check some eligibility criteria for study MBA in UK. All business schools vary, but as a general rule applicants will need the following:
Criteria for Study MBA in UK
Prior Study Requirement MBA in UK
The basic eligibility requirement for MBA programs in the UK is 15 years of study. Which is 12 years of schooling and 3 years of higher education as a minimum – which means that your 3-year bachelor’s degree from an Indian university will be accepted.
There is no specific field of study or type of degree required. So whether you have an engineering degree, a BCom or a Bachelor of Business Administration, you can apply to a UK university for your MBA.
Professional Experience
To study the MBA in the UK, a professional experience of at least 3-4 years is ideal. Indeed, the MBA is designed to draw on your industry experiences, as well as those of your classmates – to build a solid foundation that goes beyond theory. All of the top UK B schools, from the London School of Business to Warwick Business School, require work experience.
However, first-year students with no experience, or with at most 1-2 years experience, also have options in UK MBA programs – universities such as Anglia Ruskin University and Northampton University, for example target students with limited work experience, providing opportunities. Also, it is to build the foundations of their business career.
Whatever your status, the UK is the top MBA destination for you!
Statement of Purpose/Personal Statement
The perfect SOP may be just what you need to secure your MBA admission!
For students wishing to study in UK, the SOP is meant to be an indicator of the applicant’s academic strengths and potential. Your SOP should reflect your academic and other relevant achievements that you have clear. Also, relevant reasons behind your desire to pursue the program in question, as well as your preparation to take on the rigors of the program.
As an MBA aspirant, your work experience and everything you’ve built so far should be clear in your SOP – letting the university know you’d be an asset to their program. Your business aspirations are also important – they will indicate your determination and sense of purpose.
